The “Scoutcenter” belongs to the association "Les Amis des Greng Scouten a Guiden Diddeleng a.s.b.l." (A.G.S.G.D).

Spending time here implies unreserved acceptance of and compliance with the rules and the general conditions governing the provision of services, equipment and facilities.

Any incorrect indications as well as non-compliance with these regulations will result in immediate expulsion from the site. This also applies to instructions given by members of the A.G.S.G.D. In such cases, no refund is possible.

  1. General instructions

Each user must be of legal age and all groups of minors must be supervised by responsible adults who are constantly present during their stay.

Each user assumes full responsibility for his own behaviour or the behaviour of a member of his group or his guests.

Each user or person responsible for a group leader is liable for any deterioration or damage to the equipment and infrastructure provided and will be asked to pay for the repair of the damage caused and/or the extraordinary cleaning costs.

Any damage or incidents must be reported immediately to the association "Les Amis des Greng Scouten a Guiden Diddeleng a.s.b.l." at the phone number 00352 621 249 386 / 00352 621 700 619.

The association "Les Amis des Greng Scouten a Guiden Diddeleng a.s.b.l." assumes no responsibility for thefts or incidents/accidents of any kind that occur on the site.

Every resident must have civil liability insurance.

All commercial activities are prohibited on the site, unless the A.G.S.G.D expressly agreed in writing

Any loss of a key must be reported immediately and will incur a fee of 10€.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the buildings. It is mandatory to throw cigarette butts into the steel container in the smoking area. It is forbidden to throw them carelessly in the surroundings.

It is forbidden to remove furniture from the building.

It is imperative to respect the law concerning the consumption of psychoactive substances (alcohol, etc.) on our site.

Internet access must not be misused for fraudulent activities.

Please note that members of the “Greng Scouten a Guiden Diddeleng asbl” may be present at any time during your stay.

The campsite can be used by different groups during the same period.

  1. Safety instructions

The emergency exits and escape routes must not be obstructed.

Parking in the courtyards is strictly forbidden.

Fire brigade access must always be guaranteed.

Bringing firearms or other explosive or dangerous objects is strictly forbidden on the entire site.

Ball games are prohibited in the courtyards.

  1. Fire alarm

In case of a fire alarm, the “Scout Center” must be evacuated immediately and all persons must go to the assembly point on the campsite (marked with a sign)

In case of a fire, call the fire department on 112.

In case of a false alarm, deactivate the alarm by following the instructions on the fire control pane in the entrance area of the building. Any costs incurred as a resulting from improper activation of the alarm must be borne by the user

  1. Respect of the night’s rest

Night rest must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Other users or the residents of the surrounding areas must not be disturbed in any way.

  1. Cleanliness during the stay

Each user is requested to ensure the cleanliness of the buildings, facilities and surroundings during their stay.

The user is responsible for:

- Cleaning the rooms used

- Emptying the garbage cans into the appropriate garbage containers

- Closing all windows and entrance doors when you are away

- Monitoring and minimizing energy consumption (heating, electricity) and water consumption.

- Keeping the windows closed during the winter months to save energy

- Users staying overnight at the” Scout Center” are requested not to go to the upper floors with dirty shoes, but to leave them in the place indicated in the entrance hall.

The provision of infrastructure does not include toilet paper, hairdryers, towels and dishtowels.

The tenant undertakes to leave the” Scout Center” and building in an absolutely clean condition.

  1. Waste

It is the responsibility of users to separate the garbage and fill residual waste in sealed garbage bags, which are to be disposed of the respective waste containers or garbage cans.

The removal of ashes from the grill is done by a member of the A.G.S.G.D.

Garbage collection is carried out by the city’s hygiene department and takes place Wednesdays or Thursdays (except on public holidays).

The garbage cans in the kitchen, in the rooms and in the sanitary facilities must be emptied regularly during your stay, to avoid unpleasant odours and the development of pests.

  1. Bedrooms

Bedrooms are not common rooms nor eating rooms and may not be used as such.

The bedrooms are equipped with beds with protected mattresses; there are no sheets no pillows and no blankets. Please remember to bring your own sleeping bags.

  1. Traffic

Drive at walking pace throughout the area. Think of the children!

It is forbidden to park cars or motorcycles outside the designated areas.

Is not permitted to wash your vehicle on the site

Caravans and camper vans are not permitted (green zone)

We do not have a charging station for electric cars.

For safety reasons, do not charge your car in normal sockets

 

  1. Departure

 Before every departure:

- clear away the tables chairs and benches

- sweep the used rooms and facilities

- kitchen appliances and dishes must be cleaned and put away in the designated places (for dishwasher, see instructions for use)

- empty trash cans in the rooms, in the kitchen and in the bathrooms

- close all doors and windows

- turn down the heating (thermostat at 2)

- turn off the lights and all electrical appliances (except fridges and freezers)

- All users must carefully clean all rooms and facilities and leave them in the same conditions as they found them. Any additional cleaning hours required will be carried out by a cleaning company and invoiced to the user.

The condition of the site well be checked by a member of the A.G.S.G.D. in the presence of the user upon his arrival and departure.

  1. Pitches on the campsite.

The tents must be set up on the pitches assigned by a member of the A.G.S.G.D.

The site must be left in its original condition.

It is forbidden to dig holes.

The planting and floral decorations must be respected.

It is strictly forbidden to hammer nails into trees or cut branches.

It is forbidden to light fires, except in the designated areas.

It is the responsibility of each user to ensure that no waste or objects of any kind (stakes, stones, wire, pieces of wood, nails, etc.) are lying around on the lawn.

  1. Animals

The presence of animals on the site must be approved by a member of the A.G.S.G.D.

Dogs must be kept on a leash at any times and owners must comply with the dog law of 9 May 2008. Owners must remove their dog's droppings.

No animals are allowed on the site if their owner is not present. For hygiene reasons animals are not in the kitchen or bedrooms.
